Terms of Service - Synfire

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Synfire registry ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Synfire is an open registry for hosting, sharing, and discovering neuromorphic models in the Neuromorphic Intermediate Representation (NIR) format. The Service includes the web application, CLI tool, Python SDK, and associated APIs.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

4. Content and Licensing

All models published to Synfire must include a valid SPDX license identifier. You retain ownership of content you publish but grant Synfire a license to host and distribute it according to the license you specify. You must have the right to publish any content you upload.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details on prohibited activities.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms. Published releases may be tombstoned if found to violate our policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any models hosted on the registry.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synfire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
